As a process artist influenced by the movements of nature, I approach my work with various methods and materials that continue to lead into new territory. My home/ studio is located in the lower Florida Keys, remotely situated on filled and raised acreage, overlooking Upper Sugarloaf Sound and the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge.

Tidal flows are visible in the surrounding wetlands. Access to the main road is occasionally impacted by seasonal flooding, wind and weather patterns. During one of the annual King Tides, (while wading up my road in knee high boots), I realized that I was living in a very unique place when I spotted a young nurse shark swimming toward me.

I started this blog to share my experiences, as well as provide a glimpse of my art making methods.
